Are the trading conditions different between the levels?

BullRush Prop Trading offers a 4-level challenge with demo and live accounts, featuring a consistency rule.

Updated over a month ago

Levels 1 and 2 are on demo trading conditions.

While these conditions mirror the real world environment, they are not exact. In Levels 3 and 4 you move to a funded account, which is a live account with real market conditions.

While the spreads, commissions, and swaps remain the same, the available liquidity is generally lower in the real market vs. the demo market.

Calculation: Best Profitable Day ÷ Total Profits *100 = Best Day % of Total Profit

Example:

On a $100k account, a trader achieves an 8% return on their first day, and a 2% return on their second day. This would be 8,000 /10,000 * 100 = 80%. Because this is over 50%, even though the trader has achieved the 10% target, they will need to continue to trade to get the 80% below 50%.

So, on day 3 the trader continues to trade and returns $5,000 in profits bringing their total profits to $15,000. The new calculation at this point is 8,000 / 15,000 * 100 = 53.3%. The trader still is over the 50% threshold and would need to continue to generate profits.

So, on day 4 the trader continues to trade and returns another $5,000 bringing their total profits to $20,000. The new calculation at this point is 8,000 / 20,000 * 100 = 40%.

At this point the trader has achieved the consistency target and will have passed the challenge.

Another more simple example is on a $100k account with a 10% profit target the trader trades for 2 days. Each day they return $5,000, thus hitting their 10% profit target, as well as their consistency target. This is because their largest profitable day was exactly 50% of their overall profits.
